Bitcoin tried pushing past 80k again yesterday morning only to get rejected hard, sending it south by over 2k in a fresh correction. Some bigger alts like HYPE ZEC XMR and LINK have taken heavy daily hits while BNB slid right back up to the 750 mark.
BTC Down to $78K 💀
The main coin spent last weekend just chilling sideways between 77k and 79k after that Friday rejection at 81.5k. It tried breaking out on Monday but got slammed down first to 77.2k then all the way to 76.4k as the week went on. Bulls finally woke up on Thursday and stopped the drop before launching a massive pump that sent it flying several grand to a fresh three-month high near 82.5k. The usual rejection hit again though after a stronger than expected US jobs report on Friday so BTC dipped to 81.3k then the bears dragged it under 78.8k once that news dropped. It rebounded over the weekend and pushed past 80.4k on Monday morning only for those same bears to yank it south by another 2k. Now it sits at 78.2k with a 1.57 trillion market cap and dominance down to 58.8 percent.
XRP Below $1.40 🖤
Ethereum slipped back under 2.5k after failing that level over the weekend while XRP fell below key support and is now fighting at 1.39. SOL held above 100 even with a 1.7 percent daily drop though and BNB reclaimed 750 after a tiny bump. Bigger losses hit ZEC XMR LINK and HYPE which had been pumping lately but gave back some gains. TAO dropped 6 percent daily while DOT spiked over 8 percent. PONS finally cooled off after its wild run and is down more than 10 percent daily but AERO and PIEVERSE jumped 16 percent and 14 percent respectively. Total crypto market cap dipped about 1 percent to 2.67 trillion.
