Xinbi was basically a Telegram-only marketplace for all the worst scam tools like custom fraud sites money washing and even victim recruitment for those compounds. They held everything in escrow till jobs wrapped which let the team trace victim cash straight to those wallet addresses posted there. A DC court greenlit the channel grabs on September 7 and the warrant dropped Wednesday.
Prosecutors nabbed two crypto wallets worth around 12 million from vendor payments and went after 47 more tied to the network hitting past 52 million total from the whole thing. OFAC slapped Xinbi as a transnational criminal org the same day freezing their US assets too.

The crew also helped Madagascar smash 13 Chinese scam compounds processing over 3,200 devices and chatting with about 400 arrested folks pushing the whole crackdown way past Southeast Asia. Before this the UK had already sanctioned them but Xinbi just hopped to fresh channels and kept rolling like nothing happened tho. The Strike Force kicked off back in November 2025 to target these Chinese crime rings. Crypto investment scam losses hit 8.65 billion in 2025 jumping 89 percent from 4.57 billion in 2023 but the FBI notes most victims stay silent.
