Bitcoin’s been chillin’ this weekend like it’s got nowhere to be, barely shifting from $83,000 over the past 36 hours 🖤 but expect some spicy volatility to drop in later today or tomorrow morning 🌑.
The big alts haven’t flexed much either way lately, yet a fresh mid-cap icon just stole the spotlight 💀.
BTC Vibing Around 83K ✨
The main crypto kicked October off hard, blasting past $87,000 on the second day. Bears jumped in quick and dragged it under $84,000 that same day tho. It clawed back toward $85,000 last weekend then tried another breakout on Monday morning only to get capped at $86,600.
The next drops hit harder. Bitcoin first tumbled to $83,600 before a small bounce to $84,400. Then bears fully took over and slammed it down to $82,400 on Wednesday plus a multi-week low of $80,400 on Thursday. Losing almost $7,000 in days meant a rebound was overdue and it arrived on Friday.
Bulls got stopped at $83,500 though. Since then the asset has just been sliding sideways near $83,000 with no big swings. More chaos could pop tonight or tomorrow after fresh strikes on Saudi Arabia and President Trump’s signal the US might join in 🦇.
Bitcoin’s market cap sits at $1.660 trillion while dominance over alts holds 59.5% on CMC.

Three Wild Double-Digit Winners 🕸️
Like I said the larger alts are barely moving. ETH hovers near $2,500, XRP slipped under $1.40 while ZEC and HYPE creep up around 1%. BNB, SOL, TRX, DOGE, XMR, LINK and ADA sit slightly red 🥀.
STRK took center stage today though, rocketing over 53% to almost $0.11. It’s up more than 105% this week alone. Other big movers include TIA at 21% and AERO at 15%. TIA sits near $0.60 while AERO reached $1 🔪.
The total crypto market cap stays locked at $2.8 trillion on CMC.
