Franklin Templeton Files for ETFs Feeding Dividend Yields Into Bitcoin’s Grip 🕸️🦇

Franklin Templeton just dropped two fresh ETF filings on Nasdaq that grab US stocks and shove those dividends right into Bitcoin.

Franklin Templeton Drops ETFs Aiming For 5% BTC Allocation 🖤

Nate Geraci from NovaDius Wealth Management highlighted the moves in this X post on October 26, calling them ETFs that hold US equities while dumping dividends straight into BTC. “Basically like investing in S&P 500 & Nasdaq 100 w/ dividends going to BTC,” he added, noting the 5% BTC target and praising the smart design that could hand everyday investors easier crypto exposure. The filings list the products as the Franklin US Equity Bitcoin DRIP Index ETF and the Franklin US Innovation Bitcoin DRIP Index ETF, both under Franklin Templeton ETF Trust on Nasdaq.

Bitcoin Price Dips Add Extra Spice To The Mix 🌑

CoinGecko shows the OG crypto hovering just under 80000, down over 1% in the last 24 hours and nearly 4% across seven days. Its 30-day slide hits more than 5%, sitting 29% lower than a year ago and 37% below the all-time high above 126000. Liquidation data from Coinglass reveals roughly 33 million in Bitcoin positions got wiped in the prior day, with longs taking 27 million of that hit. Spot BTC ETFs also bled over 635 million last Friday, trimming weekly inflows to around 442 million. The structure links regular stock plays with automatic Bitcoin stacking, channeling dividends into the asset instead of forcing separate buys. A filing link here covers the details without confirming a launch yet.
