Bitcoin Miner Fees Crumble to Just 0.64% of Revenue, Analyst Notes 🖤🌑

Transaction fees averaged just 0.64% of bitcoin miner revenue in the last 30 days according to analyst axel adler jr. 🖤 with btc oscillating between 83000 and 84000 miners finances depend mostly on the assets price and the electricity their machines burn since fees add almost nothing.

Miners Still Lean Hard On Brand New Coins 🦇

In dollar terms fees brought in an average of 64 cents out of every 100 of daily miner revenue and newly issued btc supplied the rest. A week earlier the 30 day average was 0.65 a change adler described as small though the indicator has stayed below 1% since mid august 2025. Bitcoin has climbed from 59000 to 84000 and the analyst credits that rise for most of the improvement in miners conditions. The fee share is the figure to watch a sustained return above 1% would show fees contributing more to revenue and point to greater network activity.

BTC Price Shapes How Much Buffer Miners Get 🌑

At an electricity price of 0.05 per kilowatt hour the report compared two bitmain machines. Mining one btc with an antminer s19 costs 86700 in electricity alone more than the asset is worth even after the price recovery. An s21 needs about 44300 of power per btc leaving more room for equipment maintenance and other expenses. Fees at this level do not confirm that miners are shutting down machines or selling reserves adler added since each operators position depends on its hardware power rate and other expenses. The electricity figure also omits equipment purchases and cooling costs so the full cost of mining a coin is higher. Further price gains would narrow the s19 shortfall and widen the s21 cushion according to the report while a decline would cut revenue for both models. Coingecko data put btc near 83000 at the time of writing up 8% across the last 30 days. However the seven day change is more than a 3% decline and the price is sitting 25% lower than a year ago and nearly 34% below its all time high of over 126000. The september consumer price index report a gauge of inflation is due wednesday october 14 with producer prices and retail sales following on thursday. A hotter than expected reading could add pressure on btc which has not regained most of the losses from last thursdays crash. Miners have also been looking beyond bitcoin for income. Mara posted a 611.3 million net loss for the second quarter in august and several public miners sold more than 32000 btc in the first quarter of 2026 and put the proceeds into ai contracts worth an estimated 70 billion industry wide. 💀🔪🕷️🥀🪦

Bullish Hint Surfaces Even As Btc Lingers Below 84k 🕸️🖤

Bitcoin just closed above its 50 week moving average for four straight weeks now.

Bottom Signal Emerges Amid The Descent 🖤

Analyst Ash Crypto calls this the start of a fresh bull run yet that average still drifts lower while BTC lingers roughly a third beneath its peak. The weekly chart reveals BTC hovering near 84000 against the 50 week line at about 77000 after dipping to 58000 and printing a strong green candle that reclaimed the level. That line simply averages the prior 50 weekly closes spanning roughly a year.

Demand Holds The Real Key To Confirmation 🌙

Spot Bitcoin ETFs saw 681 million in net outflows last week the biggest since late June with 487 million leaving on Wednesday alone as price dipped. XWIN Japan notes an improving bottom setup but insists confirmation needs steady ETF inflows plus stronger spot buying and rising demand. Exchange reserves stay low whale bags sit around 3 million BTC while apparent demand has risen from deep negatives yet stays below zero. Markets have baked in roughly an 18 percent chance of an October Fed hike with midterms on November 3 looming. CryptoRus demands repeated four hour closes above 84000 on climbing volume or else another rejection proves squeeze pressure not real conviction. Data drops like CPI PPI retail sales and jobless claims can flip liquidity fast lol.

Coinbase AI Agent Slices Fraud by 30% in Onramp Trial 🦇🖤

Coinbase just dropped some serious tea on how they leveled up their fraud game with a custom open-weight AI model trained on their own transaction data. It beats those big closed-source ones in catching fraud while keeping latency super low. 🌑

Coinbase Slays Fraud Detection Using A Compact Model 🖤

In their October 12 post Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong spilled that they fine-tuned Qwen3.5-9B on internal data and it crushed frontier models on fraud prevention at way lower cost and speed. The real tea is that specialist models win on narrow tasks whether solo or teaming up. 💀 The exchange broke it down in their Owning Intelligence series showing how they added an AI risk agent to their machine learning setup for Onramp. This lets users snag crypto via partners even in guest mode. An experiment cut fraudulent transactions by 30 percent and fraud value by 22 percent. The agent scanned recent transaction sequences spotting sneaky patterns a single payment check would miss. It can block shady moves that passed earlier filters but never reverse a prior block. They benchmarked fresh closed-source models on exactly 16,140 transactions from 7,293 users including 813 confirmed fraud cases. Newer Opus Sonnet and GPT versions actually flopped harder on multiple fraud metrics than older drops. GPT-5.6 boosted precision yet tanked recall so it missed more fraud overall. That pushed them toward open-weight models they could tweak directly instead of API-only vibes. 🔮

AI Autonomy Sparks Some Sinister Warnings 🚀

Coinbase stays cautious with clear limits on their agent since it only returns a risk score and app code enforces the final call. It blocks allowed transactions but cannot override existing blocks. Certik flagged risks around autonomous security agents potentially causing bad outputs and less human oversight so named owners and hard caps remain key lol. 😈 This whole approach feels kinda iconic for DeFi safety right now. 💅

Bitcoin Etf Drains Hit a 3-Month Peak as Ethereum Funds Keep Their Losing Grind 🖤🦇

The spot bitcoin etfs had their worst outflows week since june ended and that totally dragged the price down hard. 🖤
Although eth etfs saw a bit less net outflows overall the picture looks way darker with zero green days at all. 😭

BTC Funds Draining Like Crazy 💸

The week kicked off rough with almost 90 million in net outflows from the start. Btc price got rejected at 87000 and crashed by a couple grand that same day. It bounced a tad tuesday when flows flipped positive with 118.86 million pouring in. 👀
Wednesday and thursday flipped to nightmare mode tho with outflows hitting 487.07 million and then 244.13 million. Btc took a massive hit dropping to a two week low at 80400 on thursday. 🌑
Friday brought tiny inflows of just 21.13 million which wasnt enough to fix the damage so the week closed at 681.10 million net outflows the highest since june. Total inflows fell from 57.79 billion down to 57.11 billion. 😈

Eth Etfs Looking Even Darker Lmao 🌑

Eth etfs started with 50.76 million outflows and it got worse tuesday at 201.89 million then 160.77 million wednesday. Red days kept rolling with 72.54 million thursday and 56.10 million friday. 💀
Thats five straight red days stacking on four more before so no green since september 28. Totals slid from 13.95 billion to 13.26 billion. 😭
