Phishing Vibes Hitting Hard 🔥
In their X update Trezor said they already nuked the fake domain and are digging into how the hackers even got into their real one. The scam mail tried to freak people out claiming some big STM32 chip flaw in their wallets could spit out recovery phrases with zero randomness putting your bags at risk 😱. It even said like 25% of devices might be cooked. Casa CEO Nick Neuman noted that these same weird messages popped up for BitBox users too so this drama might be bigger than just Trezor 👀. This ain’t Trezor’s first rodeo with a third party hack either. Back in August their logistics partner ShipMonk had a breach exposing order details for a ton of hardware buyers.Chip Drama Getting Real 🧪
Separate tests on the TROPIC01 chip in Trezor’s Safe 7 wallet turned up some wild concerns where Ledger researchers showed an attacker with physical access and a 1064 nm laser could mess with firmware checks during boot. Trezor clapped back saying user funds are still safe tho ✨. ZachXBT already called all hardware wallets straight up garbage before and said he’d skip them for big stacks preferring a dedicated iPhone instead 🖤.Just another echo from the void by iconofsin.eth 💖
