CoinDesk reported on August 20 that X is chatting about Circle’s USDC for dishing out royalties to top creators. The talks are still brewing according to someone in the know who also deals with other platforms exploring stablecoins for influencer cash 🔮🖤.
This news hits as X shifts how creators get paid with the Original Content Rewards Program taking over. X announced early this month it is ending new signups for the old program.

Under the new rewards game eligible creators pull earnings from impressions on their original posts from Premium users on the Home Timeline where at least half the post shows up 🌙. You need 500 verified followers and 500,000 impressions from verified users in the last 90 days plus a Premium subscription and good standing 💀.
Current Revenue Sharing folks can keep earning until September 7 then switch over from September 8 with payouts starting September 25 ✨.
X Money Weaves Stablecoin Magic Into Its Realm 🕸️
Stablecoins now hold a combined market value over $300 billion and help businesses move funds across borders quicker and cheaper than old banking paths 🦇. The product opened to limited US Premium+ users in June then widened to more paid subscribers by late July.
