PENGU Drops 20% In Two Weeks But Seers Foresee A Fierce Rebound 🦇🖤

PENGU used to rule as this giant meme coin for the Pudgy Penguin crew with a market cap smashing past 2.5 billion dollars. But months of bearish pressure later its value has crashed under 500 million and it is trading around 0.0074 with a 20 percent drop over the past two weeks 🐧📉. One key signal tho hints that PENGU could spark a serious resurgence soon ✨.

Is a Major Bounce Loading Up? 💎

Ali Martinez caught a fresh buy signal on the TD Sequential indicator and that metric has nailed trend shifts before lol. Buy signals back in early August and mid September led to huge runs of 77.6 percent and 66.9 percent while a sell signal just under a month ago triggered a 31.5 percent dip 😈. Now the TD Sequential has flashed another buy on the daily chart which suggests an upswing might be kicking off 🖤. Martinez also pointed out the timing feels interesting from a fundamentals side since PENGU is now live to buy sell and hold on SoFi bringing exposure to over 15 million users 🚀. The official Pudgy Penguins X account called it another step toward bringing PENGU to everyone everywhere. Altcoin Sherpa called the move a pretty cool partnership for PENGU and added that if any brand has broken into the mainstream it is Pudgy Penguins imo with a bag held.

Looking Back at Those Earlier Signals 🌙

Martinez dropped another analysis on PENGU toward the end of September noting its Bollinger Bands had squeezed on the weekly chart which often signals a big price move ahead tho direction stays unknown. He also highlighted bullish flips like two straight Tom DeMark Sequential buys a Parabolic SAR flip and a new SuperTrend buy signal that once fueled a 1156 percent explosion before. Since then PENGU has taken a steep correction so it is unclear if these factors plus the latest signal will reignite momentum fr.

Even Massive Bitcoin ETF Inflows Can’t Halt BTC’s Ominous Slide 🖤 🌑

Even tho the spot BTC ETFs raked in over 500 million yesterday the underlying asset got rejected hard at 83,000 and slipped by almost 2 grand since then. 🖤

BTC Slides Once More 🔻

The main crypto reacted super badly to last week’s CPI and PPI data since both numbers showed US inflation is still clinging on. On Wednesday and Thursday the releases came in hotter than expected and BTC dove from 84,000 straight down to a monthly low under 80,000.
It bounced from that low and climbed back over 82,000 by the weekend close but lost steam fast and had a quick flash crash Saturday night dropping below 81,000 before snapping back up.
People were hyped for a total Black Monday vibe on Sunday but it never hit. BTC touched 80,600 that evening yet jumped right to 83,000 on Monday. A big chunk of those gains probably came from the massive ETF inflows that hit over 526 million the highest single day since September 22.
Still the coin could not keep climbing and has dropped nearly 2,000 since then now fighting to stay above 81,000. Its market cap sits back at 1,630 trillion while dominance over the alts hovers just above 60 percent on CMC.

Most altcoins tagged along with big losses led by BTW which crashed over 30 percent plus RAIN and NEAR taking hits too. 📉

BTW Crashes Hard 💀

BTW’s wild recent swings flipped hard this time. After a few green days straight it wiped every bit of gain with a 33.5 percent nosedive in the last 24 hours pushing it toward 1.50. RAIN dropped over 10 percent to 0.0082 while NEAR slipped 7 percent and now sits at 4.7.
ETH fell over 2 percent sitting below the key 2,400 level. XRP dipped back under 1.30 after a 1.6 percent daily drop. SOL ZEC HYPE DOGE LINK and ADA all moved red too while XMR climbed above 610 on another 3.6 percent gain.
The total crypto market cap fell over 1.3 percent in a day landing back at 2.720 trillion on CMC. ✨

XRP Ledger Bug Fixes Ignite This Friday While DeFi Lending Lingers For Approval 🕷️🖤

The Xrp Ledger has this cute lil fixcleanup3_4_0 amendment packed with tiny bug fixes and it looks set to go live on Friday 💀 if all the validators keep voting yes 🖤. Meanwhile the network lending protocol is still sitting unapproved rn and needs ten more validator votes to even get close 👀.

Cleanup Amendment Nears Activation 🔧

The Xrpl amendment tracker showed 29 yes votes from 35 trusted validators for fixcleanup3_4_0 back on October 19 which was enough to hold that sweet majority ✨. This update hit the threshold on October 9 and should activate exactly at 09:34 Utc on October 23 as long as support stays over 80% for the full 14 day voting window 🌙. Votes only count at flag ledgers which pop up every 16.5 minutes so activation kicks in at the first flag ledger right after those 14 days wrap not the exact second they end 🦇. The tracker runs from its own node but the actual ledger record always has the final say lol.

What The Lending Protocol Would Do 💸

Lending protocol and its lendingprotocolv1_1 add on each have just 19 votes which is around 54.29% right now 🔥. Single asset vault the shared pool loans pull from sits at 21 and still needs eight more to hit the 29 majority required to pass 🌑. Confidential transfer a privacy perk for multi purpose token transfers is closest with 22 while transaction batching already went live on October 9. As explained over at the lending protocol docs loans are all fixed term and uncollateralized funded by depositors through a single vault that brokers manage and borrowers repay on set terms check it here 💫. Credit checks happen off chain and the current version skips any automated on chain collateral and liquidation stuff entirely. Some brokers might post first loss capital as a buffer before depositor cash gets hit tho it never fully removes credit risk. The worked example shows the cap like when 1,090 tokens default only 10.9 tokens return because payouts top out at 10% of the minimum cover which itself is 10% of total debt so the vault eats a 1,079.1 token loss. Missed payments trigger a grace period then the broker can default the loan if needed. Issuers of tokens besides Xrp can claw back first loss capital only down to the required minimum and they can freeze accounts too. A frozen borrower cannot repay but still owes the debt and will default eventually while brokers set all the fees none charged if cover drops below the minimum.
