Binance the top crypto exchange platform is pausing select trades briefly this week for a planned network upgrade π.
TRX Holders Stay Sharp π€
Binance schedules wallet maintenance on the Tron network for August 13 lasting roughly one hour. Deposits and withdrawals for TRX pause during that window and resume after stability checks. Trading on the network stays active as usual while the team manages all related tech needs. βDeposits and withdrawals for token(s) on the aforementioned network will be reopened once the network is deemed to be stable. No further announcement will be posted,β the disclosure reads. Just weeks earlier the same service halted for similar maintenance without any reported issues so users can relax about this one. The exchange has performed comparable pauses across ecosystems like Bitcoin (BTC) Ethereum (ETH) and Cardano (ADA) to support ongoing improvements π.
Delistings Incoming π
Binance routinely reviews listings and removes pairs lacking proper liquidity or volume. From the latest review it cuts APT/BTC AR/BTC A/USDC BTTC/TRY CYBER/USDC LPT/BTC and WAL/FDUSD effective August 14 here. The tokens showed little immediate price swing yet full delistings often spark sharper drops elsewhere. Early this month support removal for assets like ACX HFT and others triggered double-digit crashes. A parallel event at end of June hit ALCX ARDR NFP and POND the same way. On top the platform ends margin trading for BTT and POWR pairs starting August 14 here πΈοΈ.
