The crypto market stays super sensitive to major political vibes rn and all eyes are locked on the US midterm elections hitting November 3. Some analysts warned this vote kicked off a big drop in Bitcoin’s (BTC) price before but history might not repeat itself fr. 🖤
Another spicy question pops up on how Ethereum (ETH) could move after the elections so we poked three popular AI chatbots for the tea. Here come the answers. 💀
Serious Volatility Incoming? 🌑
ChatGPT thinks ETH will probably tank hard then bounce back after the vote. OpenAI’s tool pointed out the price dipped after the last two midterms tho that happened in bear markets and one lined up with FTX’s collapse so no clear pattern forms. ✨
It added a Republican win might spark a bullish first reaction for ETH while a Democratic sweep brings bigger short term downside risk. 👀 According to prediction market Kalshi the Democratic Party holds a 67% shot at taking the US Senate at the start of November with rivals at 33%. Check it here
ChatGPT also warned elections are just one factor among many that could shift ETH valuation soon with inflation interest rates and institutional demand looking way more important. 📉
Perplexity agreed kinda saying the event might trigger a quick liquidation move either way especially if ETH sits near crowded leverage zones. 😈
“Analysts expect midterms to create meaningful volatility across BTC ETH and altcoins but see them as less decisive than monetary policy and growth data” it added.
Crypto Rally After the Elections? 🚀
Google’s Gemini felt more optimistic expecting the midterms to fuel an immediate ETH price pump and kick off a bigger bull run across crypto. 💎
The chatbot called for a climb toward 3200 one month after the vote with a possible push near 4000 inside 90 days. 🌙
“Ethereum is expected to reach a new all time high of 5200 to 6000+ within 12 to 18 months following the election driven by sustained post election regulatory clarity expanding spot ETF inflows and the broader market expansion cycle” it concluded. ✨
