BTC Soars Post CPI Data π
After the wild swings early last week from Strategy’s major BTC sale and the US Iran tensions bitcoin started its slow climb on Wednesday from a low around $61600. Bulls pushed it back to $64000 over the weekend where it mostly drifted sideways. The escalating chaos in the Middle East dragged it under $62000 again on Monday morning with everyone waiting on the June US CPI release due Tuesday. Expectations pointed to a drop from May’s high but the actual figure came in even softer at just 3.5 percent growth. BTC reacted fast with a jump past $65000 hitting that three week high earlier today. It eased to $64500 now with market cap near $1.3 trillion and dominance steady at 56.7 percent.
