XRP’s Bold Rally Drifting Away – This Threshold Might Steer The Next Fate 🕸️🖤

XRP’s cross-border token pulled off one of the most striking rebounds in recent sessions, climbing from just under $1.00 all the way to a multi-month high at $1.70 🌑.
Yet the surge paused abruptly and momentum slipped away, leaving the token fighting to stay above $1.40 after a sharp 20% drop from last Saturday’s peak. The scene turned darker on Friday after that hawkish speech from Fed Chair Kevin Warsh at Jackson Hole.

Approaching the Critical Zone 🦇

Analyst Ali Martinez has been watching the big shift in XRP network activity during this move. Active addresses on the ledger exploded by over 650% at one point, leaping from 47,180 to more than 356,000. Whales joined the frenzy too, snapping up over 300 million tokens in just 96 hours 🖤.
The real question now is whether this demand can stop the pullback from turning nasty. The chart looks weaker after the rejection at $1.70, with the price stuck around $1.40 and failing to reclaim the 50-week exponential moving average at $1.54. Attention shifts to the $1.35-$1.38 pocket as the next key support, a zone where roughly 3.2 billion XRP changed hands according to the URPD, making it a battleground worth noting 🕯️.
Market watcher CRYPTOWZRD pointed out the bearish volatile structure on X, stressing how important holding above $1.40 remains, though that floor has already cracked.

Resistance Walls Ahead 🌹

Martinez flagged the main hurdles if XRP tries to reclaim last week’s highs. First comes $1.60 where nearly 1.99 billion tokens traded, followed closely by $1.68 with similar volume. The toughest barrier sits at $1.86, site of 3.47 billion XRP transacted, and a clean break could clear the path toward the psychological $2.00 mark and then $2.19 next 🪦.
