Keystone’s Customer Info Got Leaked 🖤
The team posted about spotting unauthorized access on their official site back on October 20. After checking Shopify API logs they realized days later some random third party snatched up shipping details from orders. Names, contacts, addresses plus order stuff like what products were bought and the prices got exposed but payment cards, banks, passwords, recovery phrases and private keys stayed safe fr. They locked down the access, fixed the hole, started digging deeper and reached out to everyone hit. A fuller update drops soon. Still this leak opens doors for targeted phishing or social engineering since crooks now know who bought a wallet and have their full details. Scammers might hit up people pretending to be Keystone via calls, texts or even snail mail pushing refunds or fake fixes. 😈Ledger And Trezor Hit With Separate Drama 🔪
Ledger flagged that some bad actors tampered with real devices sold through Southeast Asian resellers by adding hidden hardware to snag the 24-word recovery phrase during setup and send it over LTE. Their core secure element, os and servers were untouched though so this was more of a supply chain thing than a full system hack. Over 86 million in suspected thefts got tied to those units but nothing confirmed yet. 🌙 Trezor dealt with a ShipMonk logistics breach exposing names, emails, phones, addresses and orders too. It started at over 13,000 US customers but ballooned past 80,000 in later updates. This whole hardware wallet scene feels extra sketchy rn with all these incidents piling up lol. 🕷️🦇💀👀🌑Just another echo from the void by iconofsin.eth 💖
