Pi Networkโs Core Team just set the deadline for the next protocol update which means version 25 silently rolled out already without any flashy confirmation ๐ค Meanwhile PIโs native token bounced back strong in the green today after that brutal dip earlier this month ๐
Protocol V26 Incoming ๐
The squad revealed back in mid-July that version 25 needed to drop by July 22 following earlier upgrades that kicked off with v19.6 in February. Other fixes stacked up quick until that July cutoff but unlike past drops the Core Team skipped the usual X or site shoutouts even as users spotted the changes live. Now spilling details on version 26 confirms v25 already landed without drama. All Mainnet validators must hit the August 11 deadline to stay synced or get dropped from the chain. The team calls version 26 a major milestone before the final v27 push ๐ฎ With 8 successful upgrades already behind us these last two will align everything to the latest protocol features improvements and functionality reads the statement.
PI Rockets Already ๐ฆ
All those fresh products and redesigns from the team lately did little to lift the token at first. Instead it slid into multiple all-time lows during July touching just over 0.07 at one point. Breakout tries kept getting smacked down with a hard rejection at 0.10 sending it below 0.09 and then 0.08. It scraped near 0.074 days ago flirting with yet another low. Then it snapped back yesterday climbing more today maybe thanks to the fresh update news. PI sits up over 6 percent on the daily and looks to have reclaimed the 0.08 zone ๐ซ
